Alien Alien - Perfidia (feat. Igino)
From their Roccodisco label, Italian house producers Hugo Sanchez and Edoardo Cianfanelli, aka Alien Alien, offer up Perfidia (which means faithlessness or betrayal)—a hauntingly psychedelic house track that allows fellow Rome collaborator Igino to vocally tackle heartbreak and suffering over hypnotic, dark, electro synth stabs. The doubled up vocal tracks of Igino allow him to harmonize his own soaring falsetto, adding depth to his voice and the torment of unrequited love that oozes over the sullen 808 rhythm. It’s a catchy gem of a track and their suffering is our gain. The featured track begins late in the mix at 2:25:21. Perfidia is unfortunately not available on streaming platforms so I thought it was fair to add another Alien Alien track, The Nights, earlier in the mix that is available on playlists.
